I am not talking about between my teeth or in a place where I can try to floss or brush it out, but somehow it got between my teeth and when trying to get it out, eventually got embedded inside my gum. I have a big lump above the tooth. At first I wasn't sure what it was. WebJul 6, 2015 · Make sure the floss goes in the space between the tooth and the gum. Gently pull them (2 pieces) out to see if they catch the snack piece. Repeat. If the piece is in not between the teeth, gently "sweep" the area with a very thin tooth pick to lift up the piece. Visit a dentist if you are unable to get it out.
